This camp is very useful for those who have no experience in Computer Science but want to know more about it. I had taken classes related to Computer Science in the past but I didn’t really understand the basics of those classes. Apart from teaching basic coding, the class also has a lecture component in which students can learn simple and effective tips to protect themselves online. The professors and graduate students were very enthusiastic about the course and were helpful in leading students through the coding activities. This camp aims to encourage people to understand and pursue education in the field by showing students what types of things students can do in the field. For instance, we learned about careers in hacking as well as the dangers of being hacked. For those of you who want to learn more about the field, this is a good way to expose yourself to some of the elements without affecting your GPA. 🙂
