As someone who was unsure about choosing a major, it helped push me in the direction of possibly being a computer science major more than before. Although I had computer science in the back of my mind as a possible area of study, this class allows anyone to learn about the area regardless of previous experience. The class is also great for those who just want to learn about how to protect themselves online in the era where we become increasingly dependent on technology. It’s a free course, so the stress of a regular college class is not there. Overall, this class is an interesting and informative alternative to lounging around during summer doing nothing.
