When I first found out about this summer camp, I thought it would be a great way to get out of the house for two weeks and that there would be a lot of meaningless, boring lectures. However, I was completely mistaken. I learned so much about this field in a span of 8 days. From hands on experience with Python and C++ to the brief lectures we had on networking and secure coding, I absolutely fell in love with Computer Science as a whole. The camp truly changed my perspective on this field and it gave me ideas on how I can combine my passion of Neuroscience and Comp Sci into one integrated career field. By learning about cybersecurity, it gave me the knowledge needed to understand such a vast environment of networks and to better protect myself from online threats. I would definitely recommend this camp to ANYONE who just wants to have fun and learn about technology in general. At times, I wished that the camp would be a bit longer so that we would have more opportunities to code and learn about the ins and outs of the cyber world. I would also like to thank the instructors and professors for making this camp as engaged and energetic as it can be. I will truly take what I learned at the camp and apply it to my everyday life and in the near future as well.
